Witchy Woman

Workshop Description
October and witches just go together! Or maybe one of a witch's companions, such as a cat, owl, raven, bat, etc. This is a basic doll making class and we will be exploring both human forms and creatures. We will create armatures, create a base for the head, devise gnarly hands, all the while learning the properties of three different sculpting mediums, dry brush painting methods. We will also discuss clothing and materials for our dolls. This is a relaxed class and students will have the option of working on one doll to completion or creating several faces, hands, or creatures. Handouts will help those students complete their dolls on their own.
