Join Anne Grgich in exploring the art of painting Landscapes of Mind. Learn how to create deep portraits of soul composing landscapes and faces with collage and ephemera to create color fields and build form with color. Anne shows how she gets her deep jewel-like effects. Students will work on two portraits in tandem, and will experience individual hands on time with the teacher throughout the day. Anne offers an amazing learning experience where she shares her own passionate process and infects you with it along the way. Create stunning abstract portraiture imagery with a master collage and portrait painter. Grgich offers her unique outlook in painting, building elements with collage in an easy to understand process of mixing mediums and other methods. Along with the various demonstrations, Annie's paintings will be present to feel and touch.

Notes: You will be collaging and painting and learning Annie's techniques to take off of and add to your own style and methods. I will bring plenty of extra superb collage pieces to fill in areas, so no worries about that. I will also bring a wax crock pot. Pre-select the collage for class and organize by color-patterned paper with flat items you've been saving. Bring the best and keep it simple, less than 5 collage pieces per surface to paint on.

• Pre-Selected Collage materials--patterns, Iconographical imagery, fancy ceilings, altars iconic imagery, faces, etc.
